Free web hosting
Free web hosting is hosting a website by a company, organisation or individual without a fee. Free-hosting sites are usually advertisement-supported, meaning that the company will often place advertisements on the hosted websites to get profit from them.
Shared web hosting
A shared web hosting service provides webspace, bandwidth and DNS for multiple users on the server. It is an inexpensive web hosting service and the most common type of web hosting available. Shared web hosting is much less expensive than dedicated web hosting and often meets the needs of most basic websites.
Reseller web hosting
In reseller web hosting, the reseller purchases web space from a web host and then resells this web space. The reseller then provides its clients with their web space and domain objects. You can resell reseller web space on either a monthly or annual basis.
Virtual hosting
Virtual hosting (also known as server virtualisation) is an architectural technique for running many servers on a single physical host computer.
Managed hosting
A managed hosting provider (or managed cloud hosting provider) is a hosting service provider that supervises its clients' servers. It contains the server hardware, operating system, and applications for their clients, thus giving them access to a fully managed infrastructure.
Colocation web hosting
Colocation web hosting is unique for increasing the speed of transfer and scalability of web projects. Colocation web hosting is suited for those with many sites or high traffic and requires a dedicated server. With colocation web hosting, your data is moved to a data centre and managed by a hosting service provider.
Cloud hosting
Cloud computing is a service which enables fast, easy access to a range of configurable resources (such as networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) with minimal effort in terms of management or provider involvement.
Cloud computing can deliver on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources.
Clustered hosting
A clustered hosting environment is a physical server setup in which individual servers are connected to a high-capacity network switch using Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). The controller connects to one or more application servers, which are either dedicated or virtual servers.
Grid hosting
Grid hosting is a distributed computing class in which processing jobs are submitted as blocks of tasks to a distributed computing platform. The processing tasks are executed by the multiple nodes of the platform, which share the proposed duties.
File hosting
File hosting is storing and providing access to files over the Internet. File hosting allows individuals to store files on remote servers and later download the files using a client application.
Image hosting
There are many image-hosting sites online, such as [http][www][imgur][com] & [https][imgur][com]. Usually, these sites have a link that directs to their uploader page.
Video hosting
Video Hosting for uploading videos relating to your topic could be videos you made of you and your friends talking about Bigfoot or videos of evidence.
Blog hosting
Blog hosting is an online service that allows users to create, publish, and manage their blogs or website. Blog hosting will enable users to upload, edit, and organise their blog or website. Most blog hosting sites are free, although some, such as Blogger, offer paid accounts.
Paste bin hosting
Pastebin is a web-based service for posting text snippets, code, and images (URLs). It is similar in function to the website pastebin.com, although it offers fewer features. Pastes are stored indefinitely and undeleted and may be subsequently pasted elsewhere.
Shopping cart software hosting
Shopping cart hosting is hosting websites allowing people to place product orders. The shopping cart software facilitates the process.
E-mail hosting
e-mail hosting is a service that hosts electronic mail or files.
